How To Delete Your Account

If you no longer want to use Hoot, you can delete your account directly from the app.


Deleting your account is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your Hoot profile and account data will no longer be available in the app.


How to delete your account


To delete your Hoot account:


  1. Open the Hoot app
  2. Make sure you’re logged in
  3. Tap the Settings tab
  4. Tap Account & Profile
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen
  6. Tap Delete account
  7. Follow the confirmation steps


Once confirmed, Hoot will begin deleting your account and the data connected to it.


What gets deleted?


Deleting your account removes the information tied to your Hoot account, including things like:


  • Your profile information
  • Your food, water, and weight logs
  • Your goals and daily plan
  • Your favorites and saved meals
  • Your progress history and insights


This action cannot be undone.


Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription


If you have an active Hoot subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing through Apple or Google.


To avoid future charges, make sure to cancel your subscription separately through the App Store or Google Play Store.


You can also manage your subscription in Hoot by going to:


Settings → Subscription

The Bottom Line


You can delete your Hoot account anytime from Settings → Account & Profile → Delete account. Just remember that account deletion is permanent, and any active subscription must be canceled separately through Apple or Google.
